[Electric heating film] The production process of electric heating films includes the following key steps, with explanations incorporating process characteristics of different types (e.g., graphene electric heating films, PI electric heating films): 

 

 

1. Substrate preparation and coating 

- Substrate treatment: PET, PI, or other polymer films are used as substrates, which undergo cleaning and pretreatment in a cleanroom. 

- Conductive layer coating: Conductive pastes (e.g., graphene carbon paste, metal ink) are uniformly applied to the substrate surface via screen printing or spraying to form heating circuits. 

 

 

2. Pattern forming 

- Exposure and development: After conductive paste coating, a photosensitive dry film is laminated; the circuit pattern is cured via UV exposure, and unexposed parts are dissolved and removed with a weak alkaline solution to form designed circuits. 

- Etching process: For some metal-based electric heating films, excess conductive layers are removed by etching to retain precision circuits. 

 

 

3. Encapsulation and protection 

- Encapsulant lamination: An insulating layer (e.g., PET film) is covered on the heating circuit surface, and hot-pressing ensures sealability to prevent oxidation and short circuits. 

- Edge treatment: Edges of the electric heating film are subjected to edge wrapping or injection molding to enhance mechanical strength and waterproof performance. 

 

 

4. Performance testing 

- Electrical testing: Includes withstand voltage test (to verify insulation) and resistance measurement (to ensure resistance tolerance within ±5%). 

- Functional testing: Tests heating uniformity, temperature control response speed, and overheat protection function. 

 

 

5. Quality inspection and packaging 

- Visual inspection: Manual or automated equipment checks for defects such as scratches and bubbles. 

 

- Warehousing and packaging: Qualified products are classified by specifications, labeled with parameters, then boxed and shipped.
